Notlar	In this letter, William Bruce, Resident at Bushire, reports that the artificers who arrived at Bushire on board the Honourable Company cruiser, the Teignmouth,on 21 February, had lost over board their tools, their copper cooking utensils and their own private clothing. Bruce asks for the lost tools to be replaced, as they cannot be procured at Bushire. He reports that one of the smiths, Nassey Chotha, died on board the Teignmouthand asks for another smith to be sent. Bruce concludes by asking for permission to grant the men one month's pay to enable them to replace some of their lost property. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
