Notlar	Letter, addressed to Tullum Pelly, thanking him for taking the time to read a letter from her husband; inviting Pelly to come and see them whenever he is able and suggesting that he might like to come and see the opening of the Tay Bridge, as the weather is too unpleasant to ask him to come right away.The section of the letter containing the date, and address have been torn off; however the letter can be approximately dated based on the opening of the Tay Bridge: the opening of the Tay Bridge is due to happen two months after the letter was written, and as the bridge opened on 31 May 1878, the letter was most likely written in March 1878. \| 2 folios \| Condition Imperfect: The top right hand corner of folio sixty-nine has been torn off, and key information including the date and address are no longer visible, as are the first few words of the first line on the verso of the folio. \| more \| less
