Notlar	This file contains correspondence between Captain Charles Geoffrey Prior, Political Agent at Bahrain; Lieutenant-Colonel Cyril Charles Johnson Barrett, Political Resident in the Persian Gulf at Bushire; and Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo [Yūsuf bin Aḥmad Kānū].These papers concern an enquiry by telegraph on 7 August 1929 by the Political Resident about the rates of import duties charged by ‘Abd al-‘Azīz bin ‘Abd al-Raḥmān bin Fayṣal Āl Sa‘ūd (Ibn Sa‘ūd) at the Eastern Arabian ports of Uqair [al-‘Uqayr], Qatif [al-Qaṭīf] and Jubail [al-Jubayl] (f. 1C).
