In response, it states that neither the Resident, nor Captain Sumley gave any indication to Ahmed Uzem [Aḥmad ‘Aẓīm] that his boats were safe from capture during an attack on Mocka [Al-Mukhā] by a British squadron. \| 2 folios \| Condition: The item has suffered from pest damage, which has resulted in a hole in the fabric of the folio.
