Notlar	The letter reports the reciept of a letter from the Imam of Muscat regarding an expedition against the British Government. It notes the reported, but not confirmed, sending up of the Nasset Shahfor the purpose of allowing goods from Calcutta [Kolkata] to be bought to land. \| 1 folio \| Foliation: This item has two different foliation sequences. The first is part of an original foliation sequence which was applied to the whole volume. It is written in ink and appears at the top left corner of the page. The second foliation number is a small pencil number enclosed in a circle which also appears in the top right corner (recto), this is the foliation number that has been used in referencing this item.Condition: The item has suffered from insect damage and is difficult to read in places as parts of the text are missing. \| more \| less
