Notlar The letter is related to events on the Batinah Coast. Kemball writes to Malet to forward a copy of a letter he has received from Commodore George Robinson, Commanding Officer Persian Gulf Squadron. Robinson's letter is not, however, included with Kemball's letter. Kemball notes that the Governor in Council should be 'gratified to learn' that Abdullah ben Fysul [Abdullah bin Faisal], commander of the Wahhabi troops, has declined to identify himself either with the Sultan of Muscat, His Highness Syed Soweynee [Thuwaini bin Said], or 'the rebellious faction' on the Batinah coast. | 1 folio | more | less
