Notlar	The file contains correspondence regarding the establishment of a provident fund for government employees in Bahrain. The correspondence is between the Political Agency in Bahrain and the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain (usually Charles Dalrymple Belgrave). The idea for such a fund is first suggested by Captain Charles Geoffrey Prior, the Political Agent in Bahrain, in June 1929. The papers cover the discussion over the details.Folios 9-11 are the Provident Fund Rules, as set out by the Bahrain Government.Folio 20 is internal office notes. \| 1 file (19 folios) \| The file is arranged in chronological order from the front to the rear of the file. \| Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 21; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.
