Notlar	The letter is acknowledging the receipt of a communication from Captain Sealy, dated 9 September 1824, but notes that as not all the Arabic language material has been translated, the Resident is not in a position to give a full response. Instructions are given however indicating that should the feud between Shaikh Tahnoon [Ṭaḥnūn bin Shakhbūṭ Āl Nahyān] and Sooltan bin Suggur [Sulṭān bin Saqr] escalate into war, British naval forces should not get involved.It is also noted that the Resident intends to investigate the case of the Sharga [Sharjah] boats captured by [?
