Notlar	In this letter James Dow, Assistant Surgeon, temporarily in charge of the Residency, acknowledges the receipt of Government commands dated 9 May, together with a copy of a letter addressed to His Majesty's Chargé d’Affaires at the Court of Tehran, Henry Willock. In response, Dow reports that the ship, the Francis Warden, reached Bushire on 4 August and that the packages intended for His Majesty the Shah of Persia [Fat'h Ali Shah Qajar] have been safely landed at the Residency, where they will remain until instructions are received from His Majesty's Chargé d’Affaires. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
