Notlar Spell sequence: BD 69 - 70 - 67 - V 64 - V 68 (?) / V 92 (?) The mummy bandages are inscribed with Spell 64 or the “Spell for Going Forth by Day” from the Late Book of the Dead. The translation of the writing indicates that these bandages belonged to Nefret-iw, born of Renpet-nefret. To the left of the spell, the deceased individual carries a walking stick before an offering table with lotus flowers, opposite from a radiating sun. The individual, offering table, and radiating sun are sketched as black outlines. The individual strides with his right foot forward while holding the walking stick in his right hand. Further to the left of the vignette and offering scene, there is another spell and an illustration of the deceased holding the tomb doors open. The individual holds the tomb door open with both hands while striding with his right foot forward. Condition: Fair condition. | more | less
