There are also attempts by the Political Agent and the Muscat authorities to trace the heirs to family property in Oman following the death of the owners. The main correspondents are: the Political Agent and Consul at Muscat, the Political Agent at Bahrain, the Residency Agent at Sharjah and the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain. Included in the file are several Arabic documents and letters from the High Court of Bahrain, the Secretary of Manama Municipality, and officials of the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman. | 1 file (143 folios) | The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the front to the rear of the file. | Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 145; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.
