Notlar The letter is a report of the movements and actions of the Honourable Company's Cruizer Elphinstoneduring November and December 1825. Walker reports that he sailed to Lingah [Bandar-e Lengeh] to procure a pilot for Bahrain, without success, before heading for Sharga [Sharjah], whereupon a pilot was found and he headed for Bahrain, and then onwards to Katiffe [Al-Qaṭīf]. Walker also reports on his conversations with Sheikh Abdulla at Bahrain, who disccusses preparations for hostilities against Ramah ben Jabbar [Raḥmah bin Jābir], and the son of Raḥmah bin Jābir, who stated that his father 'required to be at peace with all men'. | 4 folios | more | less
