Notlar The letter is reporting on the state of Southern Persia, which is described as being largely tranquil; the exceptions being Lar [Lār], and parts of Behbehan [Behbehān].It is reported that Khoda Kurrum Khan and Khuleel Khan continue to defy the authority of Abbas Khan Sirdan. It mentions that Mahomed Bakir Novwee has however failed with his own rebellion. The letter further contains a report on the progress of the siege of Beyda in Lars province.The letter also mentions that Sirteep Abdollah Khan Goozloo has fled to Beeloochistan [Baluchistān], as a result of being ordered to pay 20,000 Tomans to Fuzl Ally Khan.As for Bushire, it is reported that the town is prosperous, though the inhabitants are having difficulty with the Suibaz; it is noted that the leaders of the Suibaz appear to have little control. It is also mentioned that the Feerooz Meerza, Prince of Fars Province, intends to visit Bushire. | 2 folios | more | less
