Notlar	Letter reporting that Shaik Abdool Kareem, a private in the 1st Company Marine Battalion attached to the Bushire Residency Escort, had been placed in confinement and was being taken to Headquarters as a prisoner on board Elphinstoneas the charges against him were of a criminal and serious nature.The letter continues by giving an account of the situation and charges brought against Shaik Abdool Kareem [Shaikh ʻAbd al-Karīm] , which related to the theft of some Cammelins (cloaks) purchased at Bushire for use by British vessels calling there; and the later discovery of the theft of silver spoons and replicas of the locks used on the chests the items were stolen from. \| 4 folios \| more \| less
