The letter reports that Carim Cahn [Karim Khan] refused to accept the presents for him from the Bussora [Basra] delgation that travelled to Schiras [Shiraz], telling them that he insisted upon the possession of Bussora.The letter reports that through Shaikh Sadoon an agreement has been made with Carim Cahn that he shall purchase three or four lachs of rupees of cloth and perpets per annum. The letter also includes details of Beaumont and Green's expenses that were sustained during their captivity and in trying to procure their liberty.
