Aaron), to the elders of the Jerusalemites in Fusṭāṭ, thanking the Jerusalemite community in Fusṭāṭ for deposing an opponent, who is criticised and accused of being sympathetic towards Karaism. Written by a scribe from the Yešiva of the Pride of Jacob; with allusions to Ezekiel 23:4, Micah 5:4, Zechariah 2:3, Micah 4:6, Daniel 7:25 and Leviticus 24:10, and with quotes from Proverbs 8:13, Psalms 139:21, Proverbs 14:16, 24, 19:3, Psalms 85:12 and Numbers 11:4.
