Notlar	Letter regarding additional honours that have been confirmed on Pelly, and congratulating him on them as well as discussing Pelly's recent work (in Aghanistan) and regarding Aitchison's opinion that the policy being pursued there is a bad one.The letter goes on to discuss attempts at meeting up, informs Pelly that their house in Edinburgh is closed up until October but that he will be passing through London in early September and suggests they could meet up then, or that he could wait until October and pay his wife and children a visit then.The letter also discusses Aitchison's reservations at returning to India as so much has changed since he was last there and he is less keen on the changes and policies being introduced. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
