Notlar Samuel Hennell refers his letter of 22 December 1849 (no. 399), which concerned the sending of Indian Naval Squadron vessels to Mohumrah [Khorramshahr, Iran], to settle the boundary between Turkey and Persia. Hennell encloses a copy of a communication (not included) from Her Majesty's Minister at Tehran, Lieutenant-Colonel Justin Sheil. Hennell states that he has written to Commodore John Patterson Porter, requesting him to proceed to Mohumrah.
