Notlar	Letter informs Francis Warden of William Bruce's decision to travel to Muscat, in order to persuade the Immaun [Imam] of Muscat [Sa‘īd bin Sultān Āl Sa‘īd] to resolve a claim made by William Smith of Calcutta [Kolkata] against Ahmed Iben Seyf, a subject of Muscat. Bruce also states that he intends to enquire into the conduct of the Broker at Muscat, about whom he has received various complaints regarding the amount of attention he has been giving to British vessels.
