Notlar	The letter is informing the Governor General that as a result of the difficulties the Resident has faced raising the required funds for the British force at Bassidore [Bāsaʻīdū], he has decided to maintain a sum of 50,000 rupees at Bushire in order to more quickly respond to their needs.
