Notlar The letter expresses pleasure on hearing of the Caun's [Karim Khan] assurances for the security of Company property at Bushire and gives a promise to comply with orders not to negotiate with the Khan or any of his ministers. There is also a defence of the author's discussion in his letters of his predecessor Jervis' conduct while Resident at Bushire. A postscript reports that Zackey Caun [Zaki Khan] has arrived at Cozaroon [Kazerun] with his army.Enclosed is an undated letter from William Bowyear to Rice Amhud Shaw, agent of Karim Khan.
