Notlar	The covering letter encloses a copy of a despatch sent from the Edward Clive Bayley, Under Secretary to the Government of India to the Governor General, dated 22 October 1850. The despatch concerns the recent hostiles of the Governor of Muscat Thuwaini bin Said, against the Chief of Suhar. The Under Secretary writes that his Lordship (the Governor General of India) 'entirely concurs' in the view of the Government of Bombay upon the matter.
