Notlar	In this letter to Arnold Burrowes Kemball, Resident in the Persian Gulf, Commodore George Robinson, Commander of the Persian Gulf Squadron, responds to Kemball's letter of 19 September by reporting that he has received a letter from the Agent at Sharjah, Hadjee Yacoob [Hajji Yaqoob], in which the latter states that he believes that the sons of the late Moollah Ahmed (Hajji Yaqoob's predecessor) are conspiring to remove him from his position by fomenting ill feeling between him and the influential people of Sharjah. In addition, Robinson refers to the alleged misapplication of monies by Hadjee Yacoob.
