It includes details of attempts by the Persian Government to disarm the tribes in Dashtyari, and British concerns that Baluchi tribes would destroy local telegraph lines in retaliation. The file contains communications received from the Board of Trade, the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf, the Senior Naval Officer Commanding in the Persian Gulf, and the Director of the Persian Gulf Section of the Indo-European Telegraph Department.The correspondence dated 1936 concerns an incident where Persian Road Police escorting prisoners from Charbar to Bunder Abas [Bandar Abbas] refused repeated instructions that they give up their weapons and ammunition to the ship's crew.
