Notlar Fragment of an Abbasid Qur'ān probably written in the third or fourth century A.H. / ninth or tenth century C.E, containing verses from the Sura al-Fātiḥah (سورة الفاتحة), inscribed in a gilded frame, and verses 1-228 from Sura al-Baqarah (سورة البقرة). Folios 2v and 3r are decorated with a rectangular gilded panel. The script seems to correspond to an Abbasid Style intermediate between D.I and D.IV as described by F.
