[i.e. Tammaro De Marinis] inscribed in pencil on 'title page' (p.1). \| Binding: Pasteboards covered in dark brown leather ; Type II binding (with flap) ; board linings and hinges in shell 'marbled' paper (in mainly brown and blue) ; fore edge flap lined in silk ; upper and lower covers carry 'gold'-stamped mandorla (filled with vegetal composition - now damaged, recessed onlays now gone to green) and cornerpieces with tooled rosette accents and border in a series of s-shaped stamps ; design continues on envelope flap ; sewn in cream thread, two stations ; worked chevron endbands in dark pink and green, fairly good condition ; overall in fair condition with some staining, abrasion, some lifting of leather, etc. \| Support: non-European (likely Persian) laid paper with 8 laid lines per cm.
