Treatise on law." \| Binding: Pasteboards covered in once marbled paper (blue, salmon, etc.) with dark brown leather over spine, foreedge flap and edges/turn-ins ; Type III binding (without flap) ; board linings in laid European paper ; sewn in cream thread, two stations ; worked chevron endbands in red and cream, fair condition ; overall in poor condition with severe abrasion, lifting and losses of paper and leather, staining, moisture damage, pest damage, some delamination of boards, some spine slant (slightly cocked), etc. \| Support: European laid paper of two types ; mainly with 7 laid lines per cm. (vertical), chain lines spaced 28 mm. apart (horizontal), three crescents (tre lune) watermark, thick and burnished ; a second type appears in the opening and final quires with 12-13 laid lines per cm.
