Notlar	The volume mostly contains copies of Weekly Letters and enclosures from the Political Resident at Aden, which were sent to the India Office for information.The volume consists of two parts: Part 1, dated 26 June 1916 to 19 January 1917, and Part 2, dated 22 December 1916 to 12 December 1918.Each part includes a divider which gives the subject and part numbers, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references contained in that part by year. This is placed at the back of the correspondence. \| 1 volume (484 folios) \| The subject 3300 (Aden News Letters) consists of two volumes, IOR/L/PS/10/610-611. The volumes are divided into four parts, with parts 1 and 2 comprising one volume, and parts 3 and 4 comprising the second volume.The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the rear to the front of the volume. \| Foliation: the foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the first folio with 1 and terminates at the last folio with 484; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio. The foliation sequence does not include the front and back covers, nor does it include the leading and ending flyleaves.A previous foliation sequence, which is also circled, has been superseded and therefore crossed out. \| more \| less
