Light pink paper doublure. \| ملاحظة الديكور: Gold and polychrome (blue, green, red, orange) illuminated double-page first opening (f. 1v-2r). Textblock border ruled in red, gold, blue; page-opening frame ruled in black. Decorative motif of gold medallion with blue floriate sprays and finials appear diagonally in the upper outer corner of each page, connecting the two sets of rules. More elaborate versions of the medallion also appear in the margins to mark text divisions. Sū̄rah headings in red on cloudbands. Three red dots mark verse endings.
