Notlar	Letter regarding reports in the newspapers that Punjab and Sind are to be united and that Pelly is to be the Governor. The letter goes on to state that he hopes Pelly is happy back in India and that he will let him know how his health is; and expresses the hope that this new position would mean that Dr William James Moore would be able to continue attending to him.The letter goes on to discuss his gardening at Ware and to give news of Mrs Steimer whose husband had run off to Germany without her.The letter is incomplete and is missing the remaining folio(s) and signature, however the author has been identified as William Lockyer Merewether by his handwriting. \| 4 folios \| more \| less
