Notlar	MacLeod acknowledges the receipt of Faithfull's letter dated 14 April 1823, which arrived at Bushere [Bushire] on the Antelopeon 2 May 1823. He instructs Faithfull that in respects to Souidan bin Zaul [Sūwaydān bin Za‘al], no further action should be taken as long as he conducts himself peacefully, and Shaikh of Aboo Thabee [Abu Dhabi, i.e. Ṭaḥnūn bin Shakhbūṭ Āl Nahyān] should be warned not to attack him without cause. He writes that he hopes that the influence of the Imaum [Imam] of Muscat [Sa‘īd bin Sulṭān Āl Bū Sa‘īd] will prevent any further disorder between the two. MacLeod informs Faithfull that the Antelopewill now rejoin him having returned from Bussora [Basra]. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
