A translation of a Firmaun [Firman] from Ḥusayn ‘Alī Mirzā, the Prince at Shiraz to Nicholas Hankey Smith, received 20 May 1808. It concerns a Khelat that the Resident is being honoured with; an itemised list of what the Khelat consists of is enclosed.2. A translation of a Firmaun from the Prince at Shiraz [Hossain Ali Merza] to Nicholas Hankey Smith, received 15 May 1808. The prince is expressing his gratitude for a buggy and horse sent to him by the Resident.3. A translation of a 'Arzee' from Nicholas Hankey Smith to Prince Hossain Ali Merza, dated 22 May 1808. The Resident is expressing his gratitude for the Khelat the Prince has honoured him with.4. A translation of a letter from Nicholas Hankey Smith to Nasser Oola Khan, dated 22 May 1808. The Resident is acknowledging and expressing his gratitude for the Khelat gifted to him by Prince Hossain Ali Merza.5. A translation of a letter from Nasser Oolla Khan to Nicholas Hankey Smith, received 1 June 1808. The author is requesting that the Resident introduce his representative to Colonel John Malcolm.
