Notlar	Letter regarding correspondence with both Aitchison and Captain Evelyn Baring (on behalf of His Lordship the Viceroy of India) in regard to Pelly's desire to return to India, and his willingness to do so before his furlough expires should he be required.The letter goes on to discuss recipients of the Order of the Star of India, the lack of individuals in Rajpootana [Rajasthan] that have received the award, Pelly's duty as Agent to the Governor-General to attend to his officers claims in this regard, and a request from him that his submission of claims on behalf of Colonel William Howell Beynon and Colonel William Carnell not be forgotten, in particular for Colonel Beynon whose name had been on the list for many years. \| 4 folios \| more \| less
