Notlar	Letter regarding his inability to leave Bickaneer [Bīkāner] and meet with Pelly in Jodhpore [Jodhpur] owing to the state of disquiet at that time, and regarding the difficulties being caused by the Maharaja (Dungar Singh) being on unfriendly terms with various groups and individuals which have nearly led to fracas and serious disturbances. \| 2 folios \| Conservation: The letter was originally tied together with pink wool which was removed to enable the letter to be read fully, and the letter placed in an acid-free paper folder instead. The wool tie was placed at the rear of the folder in a plastic sleeve. \| more \| less
