Notlar	Letter confirming that he would not be able to leave Bickaneer [Bīkāner] to meet with Pelly owing to the ongoing difficulties with the Maharaja, and regarding various complaints which have been taken up and the slow pace with which they were being resolved. \| 2 folios \| Conservation: The letter was originally tied together with pink wool which was removed to enable the letter to be read fully, and the letter placed in an acid-free paper folder instead. The wool tie was placed at the rear of the folder in a plastic sleeve. \| more \| less
