Notlar	James Dow, Assistant Surgeon, temporarily in charge of the Residency, acknowledges the receipt of James Henderson's letter, dated 11 September 1820, which enclosed a bill of lading for the following: thirty-eight packages belonging to the King of Persia and to the Persian Ambassador; one parcel for the Resident at Bagdad [Baghdad]. Dow reports that the packages have been safely landed at Bushire and that any instructions received from His Britannic Majesty's Chargé d’Affaires regarding these packages will be strictly attended to.
