Notlar	Hennell reports on his visit to Muscat where he met His Highness the Imam of Muscat, accompanied by Major Atkins Hamerton, Her Majesty's Consul and the Honourable Company's Agent in the dominions of His Highness the Imam of Muscat, and Captain Arnold Kemball, who is due to take over Hennell's duties as Resident in the Persian Gulf. Hennell states that the meeting with the Imam was cordial, and that public matters were not touched upon, with the exception of the Imam stating that he expected the imminent return of son Syed Thoweynee with Sheikh Mukhtoom [Maktum] from Sohar [Suhar], which they were to take possession of. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
