Notlar	The file concerns the registration of documents by the Political Agency, Bahrain, which formed part of the Agency's notarial duties.The papers consist of correspondence between those applying to register documents and the Political Agency, Bahrain. Much of the correspondence is with the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO). The documents submitted for registration are principally certificates for invoices, but also include title deeds, powers of attorney, passport applications, certificates of residency, and nationality documents.There is only a very small number of documents on Arabic. \| 1 file (250 folios) \| The papers are arranged in chronological order from the front to the rear of the file, except where enclosures of an earlier date are filed after their relevant covering letter, and terminate in a set of notes (folios 238-251). The notes appear to be incomplete, and the file has no back cover. \| Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1 and terminates at the last folio with 251; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio. Two additional foliation sequences are also present in parallel between ff 1-238, and ff 239-246; these numbers are also written in pencil, but are not circled. \| more \| less
