Notlar The letter is acknowledging the receipt of a communication dated 8 March 1812, and notes that it arrived the day William Bruce sailed for Bombay. The reply explains the arrangements that have been made to transport sabres from the Bushire to Tabrez [Tabriz] and also explains why William Bruce had to open a packet sent by Sir Gore Ouseley to India.The letter has not been signed, but it is likely to have been written by Lieutenant Robert Taylor who was placed in charge of the Bushire Residency in the absence of William Bruce, the Acting Resident. | 1 folio | more | less
