Notlar Legal document acknowledging the deposit of an inheritance. Abū l-Ḥusayn Šemarya ha-Kohen had deposited items with Abū l-Faḍl Šela before travelling abroad, but his return home was overdue and no one was sure whether the man was still alive. In this document, Šemarya’s brother, Abū Naṣr Elʿazar ha-Kohen, receives the items deposited with Šela and releases him from any responsibility. Dated Ṭevet 1130 CE. Written in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Manasseh ha-Levi and signed by him together with Nathan b. Solomon, Moses b. Judah, and ʿEli b. Elijah.
