Notlar The letter acknowledges the receipt of John Patterson Porter's letter of 22 October 1850, which announced the arrival of the HC steam frigate Auckland. Hennell requests that the Aucklandembark on a mission, accompanied by the Tigrisand the Euphrates, to obtain the payment of 600 dollars as the deeah for the two subjects of Sheik Sultan ben Sugger [Sulṭān bin Saqr Āl Qāsimī] who were killed by the people of the Beniyas [Banī Yās] Sheik, on board Himreyah [Al Ḩamrīyah] boats.
