Notlar The letter is reporting that the Resident has little news of events in Laristan [Lorestān] and Dashtistan [Dashtestan]. It notes that Aboo Talib has arrived at Lar [Lār] with forty horse, but failed to draw out Moostufa Khan Bastukee and Nasroollah Khan for a meeting.It also notes that Shaikh Yoosoof ben Moobarek has taken Aradash, and resisted an attempt by the Shaikh of Asseeloo to expel him; it claims that the former has now regained all his former possessions on the Persian Coast.As for Bushire, it is reported that the surrounding regions are quiet, but notes that there is a proposal to send a force to exact alleged arrears due from Bakir Khan. | 1 folio | more | less
