Notlar Memorandum recomming a suitable rifle with ammunition to be sent to Mahomed Ameer [Amir] Khan, Governor of Candahar [Kandahar] in acknowldgement of his friendly reception and hospitality towards Captain Lewis Pelly during his visit there.The memorandum also recommends that a similar rifle be sent to Sirdar Mahomed Shereef Khan [Muhammad Sharīf Khan], Governor of Ghiriskh [Gereshk] and suggesting that Major William Lockyer Merewether, Political Superintendent on the Frontier of Upper Sind could arrange for the purchase and transit of the rifles. | 2 folios | Folio 115 is blank. | more | less
