Notlar	In this letter, received circa 17 June 1802, Samuel Manesty, Resident at Bussora [Basra], informs Merza Mehedi Ally Khaan [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, that on 22 May 1802 the Recoverysailed for the Presidency with public packets from the India House and a copy of the definitive Treaty of Peace between Great Britain, France, Spain and Holland [Treaty of Amiens], which was signed at Ameins [Amiens] on 25 March 1802. Manesty states that the remittance for 22,000 piasters has been honoured, but the small bill for 2,000 piasters has been returned and does not need to be replaced. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
