Notlar	This file consists entirely of data (in the form of handwritten notes and tables) that has been used to compile the tables of statistics that appear in the 1921-1922 trade report for Kuwait, which is included in the previous volume in this sub-sub-series (IOR/R/15/5/74).The file contains brief notes on imports, exports, boat building, shipping, and average rate of exchange, followed by tables of statistics that resemble those that appear in the final report. These tables have the following headings:total imports;total exports;import of principal articles by steamers;import of principal articles by sailing craft;export of principal articles by steamers;export of principal articles by sailing craft;return of shipping of all nationalities that entered and cleared in the foreign trade of the port during 1921-1922;return of British shipping that entered and cleared in the foreign trade of the port during 1921-1922.Included in the tables of imports and exports is the corresponding data (i.e. quantities and values of goods) for the two preceding financial years, as well as the countries from/to which the principal articles were imported/exported.None of the material in the file is dated, but it is likely to have been created and compiled either during or at the end of the financial year of 1921-1922. \| 1 file (50 folios) \| The papers are arranged in approximate chronological order from the rear to the front of the volume. \| Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 52; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.
