Notlar	The letter is sending a number of enclosures, in response to a request sent to the Resident by the Bombay Government, dated 8 July 1815 (see pp 93-95). It also contains an explanation for why he was not able to obtain vouchers for the arrack supplied to the British Persian Mission. The letter has three enclosures:1. Account current of the expedition against the Joassemee [Qawāsim] pirates (note that the spelling Joassumee is also used in this item) in 1809/10.2. A copy of a letter from John Elphinston, Auditor of Civil Accounts, Public Department, Bombay to Francis Warden, Chief Secretary to the Government, Bombay, dated 28 November 1810. The letter concerns charges incurred by the expedition against the Joassemee pirates.3. A receipt from J Archdeacon, dated 30 April 1811, for 260 gallons of arrack supplied to the HMS Lion. \| 3 folios \| more \| less
