Sheil doubts the authenticity of the report, requesting that enquiries be made to the Agent at Bassorah [Basra] on the issue;2) Letter no. 81 of 1852 (f 230) from Kemball to Sheil, dated 6 April 1852, reporting the Basra Agent's response to enquiries regarding the importation of seventy slaves at Mohumrah [Khorramshahr];3) Letter (f 231) from John Taylor, Acting Agent at Basra, to Hennell, dated 1 March 1852.
