Notlar	Headings of chapters are in decorative Arabic script. The text describes the preparation of a ‘Great medicine’, of perfumes and ointments for Da‘awud (?) ibn Moses. The recipe for the fragrances is attributed to Galen (f. 1v line 8). The preparations appear to be mostly based on Avicenna’s Al-qanūn fī l-ṭibb (‘Canon of medicine’; ed.
