Notlar This file contains correspondence regarding the murder of a man and woman on property in Fao [The Al Faw Peninsula in Iraq] owned by Shaikh Mubārak Āl Ṣabāḥ, the ruler of Kuwait.Mulla Muhammad (also written as Moola Mahomet in the file), Shaikh Mubārak 's agent in Fao, is reported to have found the dead bodies of a man and a woman killed by Turkish soldiers. Muhammad's testimony is contained on folio 30. The dead man is identified as being of Persian origin and named Hamid bin Aleywah, his wife is said to have been pregnant at the time of the killing.
