Notlar The letter reports that the Province of Fars is in a state of tranquillity. The exception being the area around Gowbundee where Fort Malekaya has been taken by Shaikh Yoosoof bin Moobaruk, former Chief of Nabend. It notes that a force under the command of Shaikh Abdoolla ben Khulfan – brother of Futeh Ally Khan – will attempt to recover it.It further notes that Houssein Khan has been removed from the Government of Dashtee district, and replaced by his brother Hyder Khan.
